Although they have a long history of supporting the arts, they have had little success in the African American community. A series of meetings provided the opportunity to learn more about them and what they were trying to do as well as the chance for them to learn about us, and a partnership was formed. They agreed to sponsor different exhibitions and programming receptions throughout our season in addition to interviewing our artists and advertising our events. In return, we agreed to place their call letters on publicity materials from the shows and events that they sponsor.
